About the Role as a Health and Social Care Performance Coach
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Performance Coach to support apprentices and commercial learners within the Adult Care sector - primarily care homes and related settings.
This is a learner-centred, developmental role where you will manage a varied caseload of learners, providing tailored coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help them progress through their qualifications. You'll work collaboratively with employers and learners to deliver engaging, high-quality training that promotes confidence, competence, and professional growth in the care industry.
As part of our Lifestyles Faculty, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement and support the ongoing development of our adult care and Health and Social Care programmes, helping to grow our apprenticeship and commercial offer.

What do you need to be a Health and Social Care Performance Coach at Activate Learning?
We're looking for an experienced and passionate professional performance coach with a strong background in Adult Care who can inspire and guide learners to achieve their goals. You'll be confident in delivering high-quality coaching and support, ensuring every learner develops the skills and confidence to succeed.
You will need:
- Proven experience within Care homes/Adult care or broader Health and Social Care sector
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or delivering training
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
- A GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Desirable qualifications include TAQA/CAVA, IQA, or a Teaching or Coaching qualification, and a Level 3+ qualification in Health and Social Care.
