FLYER is recruiting for a PCV Shift Engineer to be based at our Idle Depot in Idle, Bradford.

FLYER is part of Transdev Blazefield run over 500 buses from 9 bases across the North of England, enabling nearly 40 million journeys each year - all thanks to the commitment of our 1,400 colleagues. We create buses that people are proud to be seen on, and our aim is to make the bus integral to the towns and cities we serve.

What will you be doing?

  • Diagnosing faults
  • Carrying out servicing - 28 day inspections
  • Completing vehicle repairs
  • Assist in MOT preparation - in accordance with the DVSA Guide to Roadworthiness and the Transdev standard
  • Continual training - IRTEC, Health and Safety

What do we need from you?

  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • A driving licence
  • Experience on on working with buses or coaches would be desirable
  • The ability to gain or have your PCV licence
