The Role
As Fire & Security Sales Estimator, you'll play a key role in the success of our tenders and projects, ensuring all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with our commercial goals.

  • Prepare detailed and high-quality tender submissions on time and within scope.
  • Attend site surveys, assess project requirements, and develop robust cost estimates.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to create precise pricing documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value.
  • Identify potential risks and support the team with sound commercial judgement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Design, Commercial, and Procurement to deliver winning bids.
  • Produce professional, compliant, and well-presented bid documentation.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines technical know-how with strong commercial awareness. You'll have:

  • Proven experience in Fire & Security estimating or a similar role.
  • A strong commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confidence in negotiating and sourcing competitive quotations.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools.
