AKT Associate - Getting Clean (Fixed -Term)

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated graduate to drive forward an Accelerated Knowledge Transfer partnership project (AKT) with Getting Clean, a Leeds-based mutual aid organisation providing peer-to-peer support to people in drug and alcohol recovery.

An AKT is a three-way project between a graduate, an organisation and a university aimed at driving innovation and growth by transferring academic knowledge and expertise into a business environment. AKT is part of the national KTP programme run by Innovate UK.

This Associate for this AKT project will research and evaluate consumer response to different strategies for a recovery-led ethical soap enterprise, using the outcome to inform the organisation's future growth strategy. A key part of the role will involve collecting and analysing consumer data, conducting detailed market research, and identifying opportunities for sustainable brand positioning and customer engagement. The research will provide evidence-based insights into consumer behaviour, preferences, and expectations in relation to ethical and socially responsible products.

This is an exciting project and a great opportunity to make a difference to a charity which helps and supports individuals in recovery. You will work alongside staff at both Getting Clean and the Business School at Leeds Trinity University, gaining valuable experience in applied research, consumer behaviour analysis, and strategic market development.

Please note, this role requires an immediate start once the employment checks have been completed.

This advert will close on Tuesday 21st October 2025. Interviews will take place online, to be arranged.
