The White Lion is a refined Gastro Pub & exemplary 17 bed Hotel situated within picturesque Cheshire countryside in the semi-rural village of Weston. The property is grade-II listed building and was originally built in 1652 as a farmhouse.

It still retains its original charm and distinctive appearance, full of character adorned with part wooden panelled walls and bay windows. Here you can experience great food & drink and we pride ourselves on exemplary service and outstanding events.

The Role

We are now looking for looking for a Housekeeper, who can deliver a meticulously high level of service to all the guests of our popular Hotel.

You will love cleaning, be hard-working, reliable, and diligent as well as having good interpersonal skills allowing you to interact with guests as appropriate, the possibility of which will happen as you go about your duties.

Hours of work will be 8am – 2pm, working during the week and some weekends as required.

Duties include but will not be limited to:

· Cleaning of the pub, hoovering, mopping, toilets, brasso, windows and polishing

· Maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the communal areas between the rooms

· Ensuring each room is cleaned and arranged to our high standards

· Communicating any relevant information regarding the rooms back to the Head Housekeeper or Head of Rooms and Reservations

· Ensuring Check in-Check out procedures are completed correctly

About you

· High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail

· Good communication skills

· Good team working skills

· Be enthusiastic, motivated, and friendly

· Previous experience as a housekeeper in a hotel environment advantageous but not essential
