Senior Building Surveyor

My client is ideally looking for someone to be based at their site in Hull, but could also consider candidates in Leeds or York.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing end-to-end surveying projects
  • Carrying out detailed building inspections & producing clear reports
  • Providing expert advice on building regulations, planning & compliance
  • Guiding and supporting junior surveyors to grow their capability
  • Working closely with clients, design teams & contractors
  • Staying ahead of industry trends to ensure best practice delivery

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Building Surveying (or related discipline)
  • Post-qualification experience in building surveying
  • MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred)
  • Strong building pathology & defect diagnosis skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent report-writing skills
  • Natural leader with a passion for developing others
