Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Multi Trader to join our team within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a range of trading activities across multiple asset classes, utilising advanced trading platforms and tools. Duties

  • Execute trades across various financial instruments, including equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor market conditions using Bloomberg and other relevant platforms to identify trading opportunities and manage risk effectively.
  • Analyse market data to inform trading decisions and develop strategies that maximise profitability.
  • Collaborate with research teams and other traders to coordinate activities and share insights.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely reporting for compliance purposes.
  • Stay informed about global economic developments that could impact trading positions or strategies.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of trading models and algorithms to enhance performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in financial trading or related roles within financial services organisations.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg terminal usage is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data swiftly.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-intensity environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, economics, or related disciplines are desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should be organised, proactive, and capable of thriving in a collaborative team environment while demonstrating a strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards within financial services.
