Working in the music and live entertainment industry, you will be part of a growing trucking company who have bases in the UK and Europe.

This is a fast-paced and challenging environment, asking for more than a 9-5 commitment. You will be supporting a team of experienced account managers, planners and working with a c.180 truck fleet across four depots.

Based at our Head Office in Hampshire, you will need your own transport as we are rurally located.

Key responsibilities include:

· Liaise with the team to produce accurate driver job sheets

· Work with existing planner to cover upcoming work

· Allocating work to drivers on events

· Experience of working in the trucking/road transport sector

· Use online transport hubs/portals to search for backloads

· Develop a network of general haulage contacts

· Build/maintain relationships with new and existing clients – in live events and GH

· Respond to new customer quotations

· Grow a network of your own clients for music, events and corporate work

· Point of contact for incoming phone calls – be it drivers, suppliers or clients

· Book ferries, GMRs, PBNs

· Keep a log of the work drivers carry out

· Ensure that driver hours are adhered to

Ideally your attributes should include:

· Pro-active approach

· Resilient

· Ideally will hold a Class 1 Licence, or be willing to train to achieve one

· Excellent communication skills

· Empathy and integrity

· Flexible to react to last minute changes

· Think outside the box

· Knowledge of trucking throughout Europe

You will be both driver and customer-facing, this is a key role in our business and personality is as important as experience.

From time to time, you may be required to travel to/work from any of our facilities.
