Bank Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for Bank Staff who are available for ad hoc shifts.
We are a 33 place nursery situated in Withdean. We take children from 0-5 years. There is free parking and we are on the number 27 bus route from the town center. The successful candidate must be flexible as they will be working with all the children, and have the ability to work as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written & verbal are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and a desire to support children with their learning and development. They will be confident in creating a stimulating environment for the children and will be aware of the importance of all areas of health and safety within a nursery setting. General duties include supervising and supporting the children with activities, extending their learning whenever possible, preparing and serving meals and supervising hygiene requirements. The practitioner will need to attend some out of hours events such as training, parent social events and regular staff meetings. The successful will be expected to contribute towards the children learning journals by completing observation.
Qualifications are not essential however, a desire to work with children and take on training courses is.
2 references and an enhanced DBS required for all successful applicants.
