Consultant

We are recruiting a consultant to strengthen our depth of expertise in battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will contribute to technical advisory projects, technical due diligence, and strategic support for developers, investors, and financial institutions.

Package: A competitive basic salary related to your experience, plus pension scheme, annual profit share and route into company ownership

Technical due diligence: Assessment of BESS projects (technology, design, contracts, financial model, offtake agreements) for acquisitions or financing

Project support: Advising project developers from design and procurement through to commercial operation

Site visits (occasional): Participation in construction monitoring, quality control, and stakeholder interface

Project management: Ability to act as a project manager on standard technical due diligence and project support scopes

• Engineering degree or equivalent (Master's level)
• Good understanding of renewable energy projects, both technically and commercially
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong written and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team

• In-depth knowledge of battery energy storage, energy markets, and/or aggregation
• Electrical engineering knowledge
• Previous experience in renewables as a project manager, asset manager, operations manager, project developer, grid operator or integrator environment
• Engineering or financial consultancy experience
• Skills in auditing, contracts, M&A, project finance, or supply chain
• Skills and/or experience in knowledge and innovation (K&I) management
• Proficiency in other European languages

• Comfortable in a self managed, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to collaborate with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
