Experienced Flooring Store Manager

Our Clients a leading Independent Carpet and Flooring Retailer with a network of stores across the UK are looking for highly motivated individuals to join their team of client focused staff.

A vacancy has arisen for a Store Manager at their Store in Huntingdon.
  • They are seeking an experienced candidate in retail and floor coverings.
  • Previous management experience is essential.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assigning work and maintaining team results.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean store environment.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and professional advice to all clients.
  • Measuring and estimating with confidence in clients homes.
  • Maintaining the appearance and efficient operation of the store.
The Successful Candidate will therefore be:
  • A Flooring Industry Professional.
  • Ideally from a Store Manager / Assistant Manager background.
  • Carpet and Flooring Measuring and Estimation Skills.
  • A strong all round knowledge of the Flooring Industry.
  • Ambitious, Enthusiastic Manager able to drive Sales and motivate your team.
  • Excellent Presentation, Communication and Computer Skills.
The successful applicant will be required to work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, to include every Saturday and every other Sunday.

Basic Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
