About Us

We are a privately owned 13-bedroom boutique hotel with an expanding portfolio of 14 serviced apartments and 2 large townhouses. We focus on delivering warm, personal hospitality with consistently high standards. We offer breakfast on-site and run a relaxed residents' bar.

We are now looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of the hotel and our short-let properties.

Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor supports smooth daily operations across all accommodation. This role includes guest-facing duties, housekeeping oversight, basic maintenance coordination, and ensuring all rooms and apartments are guest-ready. The ideal candidate is organised, friendly, and eager to develop into a future Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily hotel operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Ensure hotel rooms, apartments, and townhouses are clean, prepared, and maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct daily property walk-throughs and quality inspections.
  • Support the housekeeping team and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate small maintenance issues and liaise with contractors.
  • Oversee breakfast service and support residents' bar operations when required.
  • Manage stock levels (linen, amenities, cleaning supplies).
  • Update room/apartment statuses within the PMS and manage guest communications.
  • Help create staff rotas and support with training where necessary.
  • Uphold the brand's standards of guest service and presentation at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in hospitality (hotel or serviced apartments preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
  • Friendly, positive, and confident with guests.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask under pressure.
  • Comfortable being hands-on and supporting all departments when needed.
  • Good communication skills and confident using basic technology/PMS systems.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into a more senior operations role.

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
