Quantum Scholars are currently working with a warm, supportive, and well-established Primary School in Reading as they seek an inspiring Year 4 Primary Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 4/KS2 curriculum
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities
- Track, assess, and record pupil progress, ensuring all learners receive appropriate support and challenge
- Create a safe, stimulating, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on pupil progress
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and whole-school initiatives
- Contribute to the wider school community, including potential involvement in extracurricular activities or events
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 experience essential)
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- A proactive, reflective, and organised approach to teaching
- Right to Work in the UK – the school cannot offer sponsorship
