We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Peterborough, PE4, for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent.

This is a permanent position, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 2:30pm term-time only - so all the school holidays off

Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of:

  • general kitchen duties
  • supporting the team in serving lunch to students and staff, supporting with allergies and dietary requirements
  • putting away deliveries
  • food preparation
  • serving, cleaning and washing up
  • assisting with inventory management
  • speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
  • undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
