Job Overview What to look for in a candidate

Core technical skills (essential)

  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets — formulas / PivotTables / cleaning data
  • Experience with Shopify or another ecommerce administration system. Comfortable with. product creation, variants, collections, inventory settings, simple theme/content edits
  • Order processing experience: verifying orders, liaising with fulfilment/warehouse, using shipping apps or integrations (or ability to learn them).
  • Data accuracy and attention to detail — product metadata and SKUs must be correct.

Desirable / "nice to have"

  • Technical qualification background: maths, computer science, engineering, or other STEM subject (GCSEs/ A-levels and ideally degree 2:1 where available). This helps with data-handling and logical problem solving (not essential, but useful).
  • Familiarity with basic web concepts (images, image sizes, alt text, SEO-friendly product titles/descriptions)
  • Ability to post on Content on social Media Platforms - Facebook / Insta / Tik Tok

Soft skills

  • Process-oriented and procedural thinker (creates checklists, documents steps).
  • Strong written communication (to write product descriptions and to liaise with suppliers/fulfilment).
  • Comfortable being hands-on and learning new apps quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
