We are looking for an
IT Support Engineer
to support our strategic growth and new challenges

This Role Is Responsible For

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the information system and the quality of the network, taking into account user expectations and needs, while ensuring maximum system security
  • Implementing the operational and security strategy of the Group and the Company
  • Liaising between Group IT and UK business stakeholders for continuous improvement and technological advancement of the wider business

Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve the objectives set by the Group IT department, including participation to the definition of strategy and implementation of development projects
  • To perform needs analysis and technology watch, to anticipate necessary changes and propose improvements
  • To implement and administrate operating systems and networks with the IT department
  • To maintain and develop a system and network infrastructure with the IT department and to provide technical support to new system projects

Proficiency In
Qualifications/Skills required to succeed in the position:

  • architecture and system functionalities
  • telecoms technologies, Internet
  • office environments
  • operating systems (e.g. Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016, Linux)
  • Active Directory and LDAP directories
  • IT and telecommunications security standards and procedures
  • network and system administration

Knowledge Of

  • VMWare or Hyper-V virtualization
  • communication protocols
  • installing, configuring and troubleshooting IT equipment

Highly Valued

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position

Place Of Work

  • Position based in Poole HQ.
  • Hybrid working after probation period

Hours Of Work

  • 40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday - 30 min lunch break)
