About the client:

Located in Telford, our client is a medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the local community. With a focus on personalized care, expert knowledge, and compassionate support, the practice offers a broad range of medical services tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring their well-being remains a top priority. The team of experienced healthcare professionals is committed to delivering outstanding treatment in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Hours of work:

Shifts available:

Monday to Friday, 17:30-20:00 totalling 12.5 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise medical equipment, surfaces, and patient rooms.

Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.

Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to guidelines.

Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors.

Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas like operating rooms.

Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient and public areas.

Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.

Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.

Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.

Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.

Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff for a clean environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
