Bateman Collins has been instructed on an exclusive basis to source an Interim Senior Financial Accountant on behalf of a FTSE100 business on a 3-6month period.

As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll take ownership of day-to-day financial management, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to a range of investment and business activities across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers across all entities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.
  • Support accounting and reporting for a range of investments in private and public markets.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and enhance internal financial processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ideally BIG4 ACA)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with discretion in handling confidential matters.
