At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role
This role will be responsible for the effective coordination and administration of Human Resources services and recruitment. This is a hands-on administrative role requiring the ability to balance a wide range of administration support to your colleagues.
You will support the entire employee experience driving quality and efficiency of service and delivery of HR and recruitment administration across Honda Motor Europe, Honda Motor Europe UK and Honda Finance Europe, all located within our Bracknell Office.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administration support to the team (HR Operations, Recruitment, Training).
- Raise and process purchase orders, invoices and supplier contracts.
- Manage and maintain shared email inboxes, responding efficiently to and/or escalating queries as appropriate.
- Manage and maintain the HR system (SAP Success Factors), ensuring that information given is captured correctly and effectively for accurate reporting.
- Run regular monthly management information reports and adhoc reports from SAP to support with administration tasks and team requests.
- Provide timely payroll data (new starters, leavers, job changes etc) to the payroll team on a monthly basis, ensuring monthly payroll deadlines are met.
- Prepare contracts and offers of employment information for new starters, liaising with them throughout the onboarding process.
- Manage reference requests with our third-party supplier.
- Arrange induction training for new starters.
- Support with adhoc requests from employees to provide information or letters as required.
- Process leavers as part of the employee lifecycle.
- Manage the data input, and accuracy, into benefit systems such as private health insurance, cycle to work scheme and display screen assessments.
- Support the Recruitment Specialist as required, with advertising vacancies, scheduling and coordinating interviews, liaising with recruitment agencies and working with hiring managers throughout the process.
- Management of the Contract Management system, advising HR contract owners when they are due to expire, uploading new contracts and maintaining the system.
Required
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Previous experience working within a general administration / team support function.
- Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information under GDPR guidelines.
- Ability to build relationships and interact well with all levels within the business.
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail including appropriate use of language and grammar in business communication
- Capable of balancing differing requirements and priorities to achieve deadlines.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes including MS Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a corporate environment or multinational organisation.
- Experience of SAP (Success Factors).
