Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Reports to: General Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team. You'll play an important part in ensuring all goods are received, processed, and dispatched efficiently, maintaining excellent warehouse standards and helping keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and process customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Handle goods in/out and organise warehouse storage effectively.
  • Inspect items for quality and damages.
  • Prepare equipment for dispatch using black wrap and appropriate packaging materials.
  • Load and unload deliveries, including assisting with FedEx collections at the end of each day.
  • Move stock and equipment between warehouse areas (including upstairs storage).
  • Conduct stock checks and help maintain accurate inventory.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
  • Support process improvements and contribute ideas to streamline operations.

About You

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communicator and good team player.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and the physical aspects of warehouse work.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office or similar).

Working Conditions

  • Standard hours: 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
  • Open to discuss and negotiate hours to suit the right individual (full-time or part-time).
  • 20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
