Job Title: Marketing Manager – Data Centres & Renewables Focus
Location: West London, W14
Salary: £50,000 per annum (OTE £75,000+), plus performance-related bonus
Are you a results-orientated marketing professional with a passion for driving growth in the renewable energy sector?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven to achieve exceptional outcomes?
For 25 years, Nationwide Utilities has helped major energy users make smarter, greener, and more commercially sound decisions. Our fastest-growing area is data centres, where we support clients from grid connections and on-site generation (PPAs, solar, BESS) through to energy supply and optimisation across the UK and EMEA. We're investing in a modern, technology-led marketing operation and looking for a Marketing Manager who's ready to step in and drive impact from day one.
We offer a competitive salary, excellent career progression opportunities, a performance-related bonus, and the chance to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector.
About the Role
You'll report at director level and take ownership of strategies and campaigns that enhance brand visibility, generate high-quality opportunities, and support our growth plans in data centres and renewables. The role is client-facing where you'll join selected meetings and workshops to understand requirements first-hand and ensure our materials land with senior stakeholders.
You'll work with a practical toolset HubSpot for CRM and marketing workflows, Microsoft 365/SharePoint for content and collaboration, and AI to help research, draft, and refine quickly with plenty of support to expand your sector knowledge as our outreach grows across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Development
Develop and deliver marketing strategies focused on the data centre sector (hyperscalers, co-location, owner-operators), with clear objectives and timelines.
Align activity across our three value areas: Connections (grid capacity, new connections), Generation (PPAs, solar, BESS), and Supply (procurement, risk, validation).
Campaign Management
Plan and run integrated campaigns across digital, email, LinkedIn, and targeted events/roundtables to engage decision-makers and open qualified conversations.
Build simple, practical plans with clear aims (e.g., high-quality enquiries, qualified meetings, proposal requests, won projects) and report progress regularly.
Website & Collateral
Oversee updates to the website to better showcase services and case studies for data centres and renewables.
Produce clear, professional materials one-pagers, case studies, presentations, and short-form content that explain complex topics simply.
Client-Facing Support
Attend selected client meetings and site visits to capture requirements, test messages, and present materials at senior level.
CRM, Analytics & Optimisation
Use HubSpot to manage lists, nurture journeys, and simple dashboards.
Monitor campaign performance and refine activity to improve the volume and quality of good enquiries, qualified meetings, proposals, and wins.
Events & Partnerships
Plan and execute participation in relevant industry events and roundtables to raise profile and support business development.
Team Building
Help prepare for team expansion as we scale; contribute to prioritisation, processes, and a tidy content library in SharePoint.
