The Role
We're looking for someone to step in and provide maternity cover for this key role at WorkBuzz.

Partnering closely with our CEO to maximise his productivity and impact, you'll support our cadence of key company meetings, and drive key strategic initiatives forward.

This role has 3 key focus areas – EA for CEO, EA for the wider team, and supporting special projects. As such you'll be a trusted advisor, connector, and problem-solver; equally comfortable managing day-to-day priorities and jumping into cross-functional projects, helping to keep the team focused, organised, and moving forward with pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the CEO to prioritise initiatives, track actions and ensure delivery across business goals.
  • Manage CEO diary, meetings, travel, and key communications - anticipating needs before they arise.
  • Supporting key company meetings, including but not limited to:
  • Board meetings - board packs, clerking, logistics, liaison with Board members and Investors;
  • Weekly and monthly ELT meetings – agendas, action capture/ follow-up, logistics;
  • Weekly Wednesday wins meeting;
  • Monthly All-Hands – working with host, finalising agenda and deck;
  • Supporting cross-functional leadership meetings.
  • Team travel – booking venues, flights, hotels, restaurants for international or team travel.
  • Arranging flowers, gifts, merch for CEO reports, clients, others as requested.
  • Supporting key company events (internal and external) as required.
  • Lead/ support special projects that cut across teams or require individual work, relating to WorkBuzz business strategy.
  • Build trusted relationships internally and externally, representing the CEO and company with warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Maintain structure in a fast-paced environment; streamlining processes and using tools and technology to improve efficiency and ways of working.

Requirements For Role

Experience

  • 5 years' relevant experience, including 3 years spent supporting senior leaders or executives (ideally at CEO or C-suite level).
  • Experience coordinating projects and initiatives across teams.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment – a background in SaaS, technology, working with a founder/ CEO would be a plus.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and adapting to change.
