Grounds Maintenance Contract Manager

Core Job Purpose
To lead, manage and be responsible for the performance of a number of commercial grounds maintenance contracts.
Strategy and Growth
- To manage our grounds maintenance contracts to meet the contractual requirements of clients and residents.
- To conduct regular reviews of schedules, time allowances on site and driving routes.
- To gather information to produce KPI's and using the data to drive decision making and contract improvements.
- Maximise opportunities by quoting for additional works and taking on new sites.
Customers Advocacy & Innovation
- To represent and promote the company to customers, stakeholders, the community and the public.
- To develop and maintain a network of relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- To deliver customer service excellence and a continuous improvement culture, so that the business keeps its reputation for service delivery and value.
Leadership & Employee Engagement
- To provide leadership and management such that all employees understand and are motivated to achieve their objectives.
- To recruit, motivate and develop a team to deliver the goals and aspirations of Wealden Services. To ensure that the business is fully resourced with people who have the necessary strengths to deliver a great service.
- To ensure that the contract is structured, reviewed, managed and operated accordingly (people, vehicles, operations).
- To ensure that best practice is in place for the delivery of contracts using processes, procedures and systems within the company.

Typical Career History
- Will have extensive experience in the commercial grounds maintenance sector.
Qualifications
- IOSHH (desirable)
- Management training (desirable)
Knowledge & Experience
- You are from a commercial grounds maintenance environment, with appropriate skills aligned to the contract needs
- Able to produce data and performance information.
- People management skills
- Customer focused
- IT Literate – Microsoft
Please note that this role is to be based from our office in Lingfield.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
