We are looking for a motivated, organised, and resourceful Junior Buying & Sourcing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with strong English communication skills. You'll gain hands-on experience in product sourcing and procurement, supporting new product development and managing ongoing supplier relationships to ensure our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

· Research and identify new suppliers and manufacturers through reliable sourcing platforms and industry networks.

· Communicate with potential suppliers in Mandarin or Cantonese to establish contact, gather key information, and assess suitability for new product sourcing.

· Support the buying and procurement process by compiling supplier information, comparing products, and assisting with evaluations and reporting.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, resolving stock or delivery issues and ensuring timely fulfilment.

· Track purchase orders and shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates on deliveries, invoices, and stock records.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier and product information.

· Coordinate with internal teams (in English) to provide accurate updates on product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.

· Provide support to other departments, such as Marketing or Operations, when required, assisting with product information, content preparation, or promotional coordination.

· Monitor market trends and product innovations relevant to GT Omega.

Requirements:

· Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, both spoken and written, for effective communication with suppliers.

· Strong English skills for internal communication, reporting, and documentation.

· Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

· Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

· Confident using business tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs).

· Comfortable using online communication platforms to coordinate with international suppliers and partners.

· Analytical and proactive when identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

· A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.

· A degree or relevant studies in business, marketing, supply chain, e-commerce or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
