We're looking for a dedicated Promotional Event Assistant to represent a range of campaigns across Edinburgh at high-footfall retail and event locations.

About the Role

As our Promotional Event Assistant, you will deliver engaging, in-person conversations with members of the public at pop-up stands, shopping centres, retail sites, and other event spaces.

Your role will include:

  • Creating a warm, approachable presence that encourages genuine, face-to-face interaction
  • Clearly explaining brand messages and campaign information in an accurate, engaging way
  • Building rapport quickly and tailoring conversations to suit different individuals
  • Guiding interested members of the public through campaign information in a professional, ethical manner
  • Maintaining a well-presented, on-brand event stand, including promotional materials and displays
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support smooth, effective event operations
  • Providing feedback and observations to help refine and improve future event engagement
  • Adapting confidently to different venues, event styles, and day-to-day conditions

What We're Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A confident, proactive, and friendly personality
  • Ability to work professionally in public-facing environments
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently when required
  • Flexibility with working patterns, based on event schedules
  • Previous experience in sales, events, customer service, or fundraising is beneficial but not essential
