About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to our payroll department, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll-related functions.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with weekly expense runs, updating employee details, managing documentation for new hires and leavers, and handling both electronic and paper filing systems. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for payroll inquiries via phone, providing professional and efficient communication. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role, preferably with exposure to payroll or HR functions
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Comfortable with digital filing systems and electronic documentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing weekly expense runs, ensuring timely and accurate submission of expenses
  • Support updates to employee information, including addresses, bank details, and tax information
  • Manage electronic and paper filing of payroll documentation, maintaining compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate and process documentation related to new hires and employee departures, including payroll updates and onboarding paperwork
  • Respond to incoming phone inquiries, addressing employee questions and directing calls to appropriate team members
  • Assist with other payroll-related administrative tasks as required by the department
