Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of our heating and plumbing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent management skills, and a proven track record in the heating and plumbing sector. Duties

  • Develop and implement organisational procedures to meet business goals.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate heating and plumbing engineers to foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Manage budgets to optimise organisational performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with admin team, suppliers, and customers.
  • Identify and nurture opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead organisational change initiatives and process improvements.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience with the ability to manage diverse individuals effectively.
  • Strong management skills with a focus on organisational development and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities including strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in organisational planning tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
