Rock, pop and gospel community choir

We are looking for a Choir Leader / Music Director to run a brand new branch of The Happy Place Choir in the
East Sussex
area.

The Happy Place Choir is a fun-loving, inclusive and vibrant community choir that sings a wide range rock, pop, gospel and world songs. The choir puts on two concerts each year and performs at local and regional events and festivals, such as Chiddfest Music Festival. The choir has been running for almost 10 years in Eastbourne and we are now looking to set up a second branch in East Sussex, to be led by a new choir leader / music director.

What we're looking for:

• A dynamic and engaging leader who can motivate and inspire singers of all abilities

• Confident in teaching rock, pop and gospel repertoire with vocal skill and musical flair

• Able to lead rehearsals with clarity, creativity and fun

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Ability to harness the vocal abilities of choir members and embrace local talent

• Willingness to take part in local performances, such as fundraising events for local causes

• A positive, can-do attitude
