Small Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Oldham, Greater Manchester, England

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a modern practice with excellent facilities and a strong reputation for high-quality clinical care. This role is perfect if you enjoy a busy caseload, like working with up-to-date diagnostic tools and want a four-day week with no on-call duties.

Qualifications Needed

  • MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon with sound GP experience and surgical competence
  • Confidence managing a varied caseload, including emergency presentations during daytime hours
  • Strong communication skills and a supportive approach to both colleagues and clients
  • Interest in continuing to develop clinically, potentially through advanced training or certificates

Package

  • Approximate 40-hour working week over four days, with a regular 1 in 3 Saturday rota
  • No out-of-hours or on-call work, supporting predictable evenings and nights
  • 20-minute consultation slots as standard to allow for thoughtful case management
