Office Administrator/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised Office Administrator to join our friendy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Sage accounting
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Support bookkeeping activities, including invoicing and expense tracking
- Coordinate office and workshop supplies procurement and inventory management
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Sage accounting
- Previous administrative experience with data entry and clerical duties would be great.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of office procedures and administrative best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
