Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or CQC standard cleaning.

A strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards is required. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-presented for both staff and visitors.

The Job is a 3 hours per day, 6 days per week.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including clinical rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas based on NHS Colour coding
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as required, including deep cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment by organising cleaning equipment and supplies after use.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospital or care home cleaning is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach to work with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting or moving items as needed.
