My client, a well-established FM business based in Peterborough is seeking an experienced and commercially minded
Operations Director
to join its senior leadership team.

As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day performance and long-term development of the company's operational functions. You'll lead teams across project delivery, planned and reactive maintenance, and field services-ensuring all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include managing resourcing, streamlining processes, improving productivity, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will also be directly accountable for budgets, KPIs, and the profitable delivery of contracts, with a sharp focus on operational performance and client satisfaction.

My client is looking for a confident leader with experience in an operational leadership role within engineering, building services, or facilities management. You should have a strong track record of delivering complex, multi-discipline projects and services, ideally with experience in both installations and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, process-driven, and passionate about safety, compliance, and quality. You'll be a strategic thinker but also someone comfortable getting hands-on when required.
