Army Training Unit Redford Bks Colinton Road Edinburgh EHPP, United Kingdom Serve Full time £8,910 - £50,000 per year

Responsibilities:  

  1. Manage and maintain workforce levels within the ATU to support the delivery of Future Soldier, as directed by the ATU (Scotland) Commanding Officer (CO) and Soldier Academy Headquarters (Sldr Ac HQ).
  2. Coordinate the instructor succession plan and provide instructor support for all courses delivered at ATU(Sc).
  3. Engage directly with Regional Brigade Headquarters (Bde HQ) and Army Reserve units within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to promote E2 opportunities at ATU (Sc), recruiting suitable instructors and staff from Regional Recruiting and Mentoring Teams (RRMTs) and the wider military community.
  4. Command, coordinate, and execute recruiting events as directed by the ATU(Sc) CoC.
  5. Work with RRMTs to coordinate activities and promote best practice through regular dialogue and interaction.
  6. Ensure effective career management of personnel posted to the ATU(Sc), engaging directly with parent units for Army Reserve personnel and promotion boards at unit level.
  7. Collaborate with the ATU(Sc) Adjutant to ensure the timely delivery of Military Secretary (MS) reports and maintain the reporting chain for ATU personnel.
  8. Act as the Diversity and Inclusion Advisor (EDA) and the ATU(Sc) authority on all aspects of JSP 763.
  9. Provide support on performance management within the ATU(Sc) when required.
  10. Undertake any additional tasks as directed by the ATU(Sc) CoC.
