Interim Financial Reporting & Control Manager

Location: West Yorkshire – Hybrid Working  

Contract: 6 Months (Starting January) 

Salary:  Up to £95k

If you are a finance leader who thrives on precision, loves diving into the details of accounts, and enjoys bringing clarity to complex financial data, this interim role is made for you. You will be at the centre of the group finance function, where your technical expertise in accuracy, control and IFRS compliance will build trust across the organisation and with external partners. 

You will have the autonomy to lead a small team confidently, collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leaders and project manager the reporting process. Plus, you will work within a high-performing team that values your attention to detail and technical knowledge.

Taking full ownership of external reporting including multiple sets of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, deadlines and IFRS and FRS adherence. Challenging and supporting the wider finance function to maintain integrity and precision across financial control, data and internal compliance Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders such as auditors to ensure transparent and compliant reporting. Lead a team of 4 and drive improvements across the function. 

About You You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a genuine love for accounts, detail, and financial accuracy. You have strong hands-on experience in financial control and reporting, with solid knowledge of IFRS. Confident leading a team and building trusted, influential relationships with senior leaders and external partners. You have a solid grasp of accounting standards, governance frameworks, and a keen eye for detail. Motivated by driving change, improving processes, and delivering precise, reliable financial results in a large fast-paced multi entity environment.
