We currently have a vacancy for an experienced CNC miller to work at our site in Great Baddow, Chelmsford.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team manufacturing prototype and small batch components.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a CNC Miller will involve:

Manufacture of small batch / prototype and production components ranging from highly accurate aerospace components through to lab use demonstrator items.

The successful applicant will need to be able to program, set and run 3 axis CNC milling machines using CADCAM software and also via the machine control.

Also required is the ability to operate manual milling machines and lathes.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate a flexible working attitude as part of this interesting role.

Essential

Your skills and qualifications as a CNC miller:

Experienced CNC milling machinist

Able to program, set and operate different machine tools, as well as operate manual milling machines and lathes

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Engineering (or equivalent) or higher

Apprentice trained

Desirable

3D CADCAM programming experience
