Set on the seafront with views of the pier, Brighton Beach House spans two floors and features Art Deco inspired interiors, a rooftop terrace and a banana shaped pool specially design by artist David Shrigley. The club menu has been specially created for Brighton, with a focus on seafood while the dining room serves Mediterranean inspired dishes. The club also features fitness facilities including free weights, cardio areas, a sauna and steam room.
The Role…
We are seeking an experienced Fitness Coach to join our team. As a multifunctional fitness coach, you will be expected to provide service and gym floor experience for our members and go above and beyond expectations. You'll support the teams to maximise fitness and retail sales and ensure targets are achieved as well as ensure cleanliness standards in the gym studio areas and equipment. You will adhere to health and safety requirements including completion of all relevant checks and be a role model in operational excellence by delivering a high standard of group exercise classes.
Requirements for a Fitness Coach...
Must be a minimum of level 3 fitness qualifiedAbility to teach fitness classes to a high standard both in studio and gym floorAbility to mentor, motivate coach and development team members to achieve their potential Ability to meet set targets and deadlinesAbility to be self-motivated and active in your dutiesStrong communication skillsWhat we are looking for in a Fitness Coach...
Strong interpersonal skillsCustomer / member experience focusedPassionate about the industry and performing spa treatments.1-2 years' experience in a busy high-profile gym/ leisure facility (preferred but not essential)Team player who communicates well with all colleaguesPunctual, reliable and trustworthySense of urgencyYes, yes, yes mentalityAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentFlexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when requiredRequired Skills/Qualifications
Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as neededAbility to multitask and excel in a high-volume and demanding fast-paced environmentInterest in wellnessGreat level of customer carePhysical Requirements
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as requiredExpected working hours for a Fitness Coach:
