Senior Demand Planner – 12 Month FTC | Greater London

TalentPool Supply Chain is partnering with a leading
Global FMCG business
in the food and beverage sector to hire a hands-on, commercially savvy
Senior Demand Planner
for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the 0–24 month forecast, shape supply-demand strategies, and work closely with both commercial and supply teams within a globally recognised, high-performing business.

What you'll do:

  • Own the UK brand forecast, monthly PEAK sign-off, and annual budget volumes
  • Balance demand and supply, tracking risks, assumptions, and inventory strategies
  • Lead Product Life Cycle Management: NPD input and delist forecasts
  • Partner with commercial teams to reduce bias and improve forecast accuracy
  • Support supply planning to ensure continuous supply, prioritisation, and inventory strategy
  • Maintain and govern demand planning systems (OMP/APO) and implement best practices
  • Track and report forecast consumption, waste, and OTIF performance
  • Indirect line management: coaching Customer Demand Planners and interns

What we're looking for:

  • Forecasting experience and expertise within FMCG or consumer goods
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex data
  • Excellent systems knowledge: Excel, SAP, OMP/APO preferred
  • End-to-end supply chain understanding with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong communication, influencing, and leadership capabilities

Contract:
12 months, Greater London – hybrid options available
