The Opportunity

Our Pre Approvals Officers play a key role within the 2plan team, ensuring that cases submitted by our financial advisers are reviewed and managed within our business standards framework. The role involves working with a diverse group of advisers and internal colleagues to ensure best practice and service is delivered every time.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our Leeds office

Your accountabilities

  • Assessing Pre Approval cases within agreed SLAs
  • Application of 2plan Business Standards
  • Liaison with 2plan Financial Advisers to discuss cases as required
  • Ensuring Pre Approval records are kept up to date
  • Managing workflow of cases
  • Assisting with Adviser Induction Courses
  • Compliance casework such as reviewing procedures, AML, training of 2plan staff and Advisers
  • Proactively identifying trends and feeding continuous improvement
  • Identifying and building relationships with key contacts and providing advice and guidance

What will you need to succeed?

  • Established experience within a financial services organisation in a previous T&C role
  • Level 4 diploma qualified. Working towards higher level industry qualifications such as Chartered is advantageous and support will be provided for further study.
  • Knowledge of the following areas is essential:
  • COBS, ICOB and MCOB product and sales process
  • TCF
  • Data Protection
  • FCA and regulatory requirements
  • Anti Money Laundering
  • Good financial planning and technical knowledge
  • Coaching and feedback skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Good understanding of risk
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects
  • Willing and able to develop wide skills and knowledge
