Our analysts work closely with teams across the company and regularly collaborate with colleagues at every level, from managers through to senior leaders.
We are now looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Customer Growth tribe. Customer Growth is Zopa's newest tribe, with a simple mission: to welcome one million new customers to Zopa each year. We focus on attracting high value customer relationships where people gain genuine benefit from our products and, in return, create strong value for the business. A day in the life...
- Generating key insight from data and then using this insight to drive growth across all channels owned (think: in-product, existing customer base etc.), earned (think: referrals, SEO etc.) and paid (think: digital marketing)
- Help build valuation models that predict the lifetime value of customers, analyse our marketing the funnel and how changes in our marketing impacts acquisition rates and the quality of customers we attract, as well as how we can maximize return on marketing investments with an eye towards proving incrementality
- Support in building and pushing out a plan to integrate AI into our marketing strategy, to improve our content generation and the way we analyse our data to work out how to get the best deals to the right people at the best time
- Creating and driving forward strategies to move Zopa customers from single-product holders to people engaging with and evangelising Zopa's many offerings
- Working with our marketing and developer teams to support Zopa's paid/digital marketing strategy – a new frontier for our company that has previously utilised aggregators to grow
- Problem solving together with software engineers, product designers and our operational teams to build the best possible customer experiences
- Working collaboratively with Compliance, Brand, Finance and other key stakeholders to assess feasibility and implications of initiatives
- Working on growth initiatives, monitoring key metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing solutions
- Working on technical initiatives, building an understanding of the system and key integrations with other teams
- You bring proven experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with strong analytical judgement and a rigorous approach to detail.
- You are skilled at shaping data-driven strategy and translating complex insight into clear recommendations that influence senior stakeholders across the business.
- You have an advanced understanding of marketing performance drivers, customer value and growth levers across owned, earned and paid channels, with familiarity in guiding teams using SQL or Python-based analysis.
- You work confidently with technical and marketing leaders to enhance customer experience and accelerate growth initiatives, and you communicate in a way that challenges constructively, aligns diverse teams and drives cross-functional decision making.
- You are deeply customer centred, ensuring that growth and product decisions deliver the right outcomes.
- You operate as a proactive, autonomous leader who brings clarity, sets direction and removes barriers while knowing when to involve others.
- You are broad in approach, able to dive into detail when required yet comfortable steering high-level strategy.
- You are energised by building innovative, technology-led financial products and modern marketing capabilities.
