Warehouse Senior Operative - £Competitive

Shift details - Monday - Thursday 2.00pm pm Fri 12.00pm - 8.30pm (9DF)

Based at our Skipton, North Yorkshire manufacturing site. Please only apply if you live within a commuting distance of Skipton.

The role

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations during the late shift. Support the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining accurate, real-time records within the Oracle system and ensure warehouse operations comply with pharmaceutical regulations. Take accountability for your role while assisting in the control of incoming and outgoing materials and products in line with regulatory standards

  • Release planned jobs and prepare components for picking.
  • Process Sub-Inventory Transfers for relocated stock.
  • Carry out daily Perpetual Inventory checks.
  • Review planned job shortages and escalate as needed.
  • Assist in the despatch of finished goods and ensure loading checklists are completed accurately.
  • Receipt incoming materials and customer returns/complaints.
  • Support returns from packing in a timely manner.
  • Pick packing components as required on batch paperwork.
  • Ensure move orders and relocations are completed promptly to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Maintain operations in accordance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and SOPs.
  • Perform temperature recordings and archive charts.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met and documented.
  • Support movement of contaminated waste throughout the site.
  • Maintain FLT daily records and checks.
  • Uphold a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Input real-time records into Oracle.
  • Be trained as a Veeva superuser and act as a Training Champion.
  • Identify, support, and implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Support other warehouse operative tasks as required.

You

  • Experience of low to medium volume production, manual/semi-automated processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction when required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional work ethic and reliability.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Previous GMP experience would be beneficial but not essential
