As HGV Class 2 Driver you will make deliveries throughout Hull and the surrounding areas as a member of our Pallet Network team. You will ensure high standards of customer service and legal compliance at all times. You will have good communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Responsibilities
- Complete a Daily Vehicle Check to ensure the vehicle is road worthy and all checks are in line with the 'Daily Vehicle Check' procedure.
- Ensure all products are loaded safely and securely on to the vehicle.
- Report any delivery discrepancies at the time of delivery.
- Inform a member of the Transport team immediately should you be unable to deliver the goods to the customer for any reason.
- Ensure vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
- Assist with loading or unloading of Company vehicles as and when required.
Training and experience
- Experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver
- Must be current CPC holder
- A sound knowledge of vehicle's Tachograph (Digi or Manual)
- Good, safe driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.

- Knowledge of safe loading systems
- A sound knowledge of transport H&S matters
- Good geographical knowledge
- Possess excellent communication skills
