DCC is seeking a skilled
Contract Manager
to oversee a portfolio of supplier contracts and ensure they deliver maximum value, compliance, and performance. This is a key role within our Commercial function, responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle and driving cost efficiencies, risk mitigation, and strategic supplier engagement.

How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of up to four supplier contracts.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and dispute resolution.
  • Oversee delivery of Change Requests and Project Requests related to assigned contracts.
  • Ensure contractual governance routines are followed and documented.
  • Monitor and apply contract penalties and levers where appropriate.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of contract terms and ensure documentation is up to date and audit-ready.
  • Ensure compliance with DCC's licence and price control obligations.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Track and mitigate contract risks, feeding into relevant reporting processes.
  • Ensure governance and material controls are adhered to across all contract activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in managing large, complex, and enduring contracts.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Deep commercial knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a matrixed, multi-project environment.
  • Experience in managing contract risks, obligations, and performance.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Contract Law.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIPS, ACCA, or Legal.
