The AAT Programme
AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is a globally recognised qualification that provides the essential skills and knowledge needed for a career in accounting and finance. This qualification covers key areas such as bookkeeping, financial accounting, and business taxation. It's perfect for those looking to start their career in the accounting profession.
The AAT qualification offers hands-on training and practical experience, making it an ideal choice for school leavers who want to build a strong foundation in accounting. Your career with Menzies doesn't stop there – you could also have the opportunity to continue your studies with further qualifications, such as the 3-year ACCA qualification, opening doors to even greater career prospects.
What does our Outsourcing team do? Our Business Outsourcing team is responsible for performing various financial and accounting functions on behalf of a client company. Our team is typically engaged by businesses to handle specific accounting tasks, allowing the client company to focus on its core operations while benefiting from cost savings and specialised expertise.
What do we look for? Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
Minimum of 2 x A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
