Enterprise Risk Manager

THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well established investment banking business with a long history in the City of London.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight and challenge of key risk areas: market, credit, operational, liquidity, cyber, ESG, reputational, and strategic risks
- Working with business units to embed strong risk and control frameworks (e.g. RCSAs, loss event reporting, KRIs)
- Supporting and enhancing the firm's risk framework and appetite statements
- Preparing high-quality risk reporting for management and Board-level committees
- Driving the ICARA process, including scenario analysis and stress testing
- Conducting risk reviews and thematic assessments (e.g. fraud, cyber, resilience)
- Supporting business continuity and operational resilience planning
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Monitoring emerging risks and external developments
- Contributing to the firm's positive and proactive risk culture
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years' experience in a second-line risk role within financial services (ideally investment banking or broking
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk disciplines and regulatory expectations (e.g. FCA, ICARA)
