What the role involves:
As an experienced Product Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure all product teams adhere to our established Product Process standards, from concept to launch. This position acts as a central enabler, supporting all teams to ensure they use the correct tools and processes for building roadmaps, defining requirements, creating Go-to-Market strategies, and tracking KPIs. By driving consistency, this role ensures our engineering teams receive clear, prioritized requirements and that leadership has accurate visibility into progress. Success in this role means our product development lifecycle is consistent, effective, and efficient across the entire organization.
This role reports to the Product Strategy Manager.
- Champion and ensure all product teams comply with the established Product Process and standards.
- Maintain a single view to oversee a high level product roadmap across all IO products
- Guide and support teams in using the designated tools and methodologies for roadmap development, requirements definition, and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy creation.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leads to verify that engineering teams receive clear requirements and clear instructions on the prioritization of their backlogs.
- Manage and oversee the standard processes for reporting on progress, tracking and forecasting KPIs, ensuring data is accurate and consistent across all teams.
- Coordinate across all product teams to identify gaps, share best practices, and promote continuous improvement of our product lifecycle.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience in a relevant product or project management function.
- Relevant certifications are highly preferred (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or Atlassian Jira certifications).
- Typically 3-5+ years of experience in product operations or Agile project management.
- Experience working in a technology or software development environment.
- Hands-on experience implementing and governing processes across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Jira for managing backlogs, defining requirements, and generating reports.
- Strong working knowledge of GitHub for tracking issues and understanding engineering workflows.
- Experience with product roadmapping and GTM planning tools and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to visualize data, create dashboards, and report on key product and project metrics.
- Collaboration: Works effectively as a great team player, building strong partnerships with all product and engineering teams to provide support and drive compliance.
- Communication: Communicates with precision and in fluent English to ensure all teams understand expectations.
- Project/Priority Management: Excels at organizing, standardizing, and monitoring complex processes across multiple teams simultaneously.
- Applying Domain Knowledge: Demonstrates a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, the software design lifecycle, and modern Product Management processes (roadmapping, requirements, GTM).
