In addition to the main duties above. Ensure compliance with all necessary legislation, external inspection, professional standards and local policies. Support the Divisional staff with regards to inquest preparation, statement provision and attendance if required along with co-ordinating lessons learned statements and responses for issues raised by HM Coroner such as prevention of future death (regulation 28) reports. Support and monitor alerts and freedom of information requests.

Develop and contribute to the development of policies and procedures, care pathways and service development. Be the Division link with the Trust Risk and Safety department. Manage, lead and develop the Divisional Governance Team. Provide support with PSIIs and learning responses for other Divisional Governance & Quality Managers, when required.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, to achieve the objectives of the Quality Governance Teams and both Trusts.
