What you'll do

  • Be a key person for a small group of babies, build trusting bonds with children and families.
  • Plan and deliver EYFS aligned learning through play (sensory/messy play, songs, stories, heuristics).
  • Carry out care routines with love and skill: feeds/bottles, weaning, nappies, sleep checks and records.
  • Keep children safe: follow our Safer Eating, health & safety and safeguarding procedures every time.
  • Observe, assess and share progress with parents; contribute to room planning and the enabling environment.
  • Work positively with colleagues, bring energy and creativity, and reflect on practice to keep improving.

What you'll bring

  • A genuine passion for giving babies the best start in life.
  • Warmth, patience, great communication and a can do team mindset.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and inclusive practice; confidence with routines for 0–2s.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and equality for every unique child.

Essential: Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification; Right to Work in the UK.

Desirable: Paediatric First Aid (or willing to complete), experience with Blossom/CPOMS or similar, Makaton/SEND awareness.

Hours & Pay

  • Hours: Full Time, shifts between 07:45–18:00, Monday - Friday, all year round.
  • Pay: As detailed within description.
