We are currently seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join a Primary School in South Bristol.

The Role

This Year 2 Class Teacher position is a full-time role to cover MAT Leave from September.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who is experienced with Early Years or KS1, either an experienced teacher or an ECT. 

You will need to be a confident candidate who can communicate effectively with other Class Teachers to support with planning and assessment. 

You will be expected to: 

  • Have great knowledge of Phonics and Reading skills. 
  • Work collaboratively with other Key Stage teachers to plan engaging lessons. 
  • Differentiate activities to meet the needs of all children. 
  • Have high expectations for positive behaviour management. 
  • Follow all school policies to their high expectations.
