Deeside Care Home is a warm and welcoming care facility in Aberdeen, delivering exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 68 residents.

We are now looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding role where you will bring fun, variety, and stimulation into the daily lives of our residents, helping them to thrive and feel truly at home.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Pension scheme, Paid PVG, Free uniform
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do

As Activities Coordinator, you will plan and deliver engaging programmes that reflect the interests and abilities of our residents. You will create both group and individual activities, encouraging social interaction, maintaining hobbies, and supporting overall wellbeing. You will build strong relationships with residents, tailoring activities to their preferences, and keeping accurate records of what has taken place.

What We're Looking For

You will be sociable, creative, and well-organised, with a natural ability to bring joy to others. Previous experience in a care home is not essential – what matters most is your enthusiasm, confidence, and genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of older people. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also important for success in this role.
