Overview

Our leading Competition & Antitrust practice advises clients on the full spectrum of competition and antitrust matters – we work on some of the largest cartel investigations, transactions and competition litigation cases.  We also assist clients facing antitrust issues, including relating to abuse of dominance, commercial agreements / arrangements and compliance advice.

The London team focus on UK work – CMA and NSIA matters and competition litigation in the CAT or High Court.  We also work on EU and cross-border matters, often jointly with our international colleagues.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and hard working Supervising Associate with between 3-6 years' PQE with a specific focus on UK and EU Competition law, and ideally experience of investigations, merger control and FDI, advisory / behavioural advice and competition litigation.

You will have exposure to high quality work covering the following areas:

  • investigations and complaints, including cartel work
  • compliance, including advice on compliance programmes
  • merger control and joint ventures
  • antitrust/competition
  • advising on commercial agreements
  • competition litigation
  • advisory work including on abuse of dominance

What we're looking for

  • Strong academic background.
  • 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in UK and EU Competition law gained at a leading competition practice.
  • Experience and/or interest in competition litigation is highly desirable.
  • A strong client focus, with the ability and enthusiasm to engage in marketing and business development activities.
  • A commercially driven mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a willingness to assist in the management and development of junior team members.
